Solutions Anti-Racism Diversity Inclusion Equity

S.A.D.I.E. specializes in providing solutions and support for higher education institutions and organizations facing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) related issues. We conduct and present DEIB trainings, workshops, and professional development programs for all levels of the organization, in addition to a comprehensive assessment of climate and culture, we provide strategic recommendations and counsel on DEIB best practices.

With over 15 years of legal experience, we address DEIB issues with a keen understanding of antidiscrimination laws and regulations and provide solutions for the organization’s Executive Leadership Team and Board of Trustees. We develop and assist the organization with the implementation of a multi-layered DEIB plan that is sustainable and will result in buy-in from stakeholders at all levels of the institution. We also provide ongoing executive coaching, including recommendations for upskilling and reskilling, to create and sustain a culture of inclusivity and belonging.

About Us


CEO and Founder, Joy B. Tolliver, Esq., is a seasoned labor and employment law attorney with over 15 years of experience and a diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging thought leader. Having earned a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University, Joy has dedicated her work to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and anti-racism within public and private institutions’ policies, procedures, and practices.

S.A.D.I.E. is named in honor of Joy’s great-grandmother, Sadie, who was born in 1918 in the deep South and experienced the harsh realities of Jim Crow laws, yet, as a nanny, she raised and nurtured generations of children of all nationalities and embodied inclusion, equity, and belonging in all that she did.
